The IoT Fuse Workshops will take place on May 1st and 2nd, 2018 in downtown Minneapolis at the University of St. Thomas, prior to the IoT Fuse Conference on May 3rd, 2018, which takes place at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
We have carefully selected a series of interactive two-hour workshops to get aspiring IoT practitioners up to date with a set of the most important and enabling technologies within the IoT ecosystem. Our overall objective is to accelerate your team’s capability to build and integrate IoT systems all within a convenient two-day timeframe.
Please click on the workshop classes below for more information on each one.
Many of the workshops include either take-home hardware and kits or discounts on platforms. Read under, “WHAT ATTENDEES RECEIVE” for each workshop class to see what is offered with each class.
Once you’ve made your way through the workshops on May 1st and 2nd, come on by the conference itself on May 3rd – your workshop ticket includes complimentary admission to the IoT Fuse Conference on May 3rd, 2018.
We look forward to seeing you there.
In order to get the most out of your workshop day, we recommend choosing a track to follow and then making sure you have the coverage to for the track. A Workshop day consists of 4 Workshop segments. The following are recommended tracks, of course, you can always choose to mix and match on your own.
Complete Solution Track – This track covers the creation of a complete solution by providing workshops on all the constituent parts – Data, Applications, Networking, Hardware, and Business Integration. To complete this track, choose one class from each of respective categories:
|Data & Machine Learning or Business Integration (1)||Network (1)||Software & Cloud or Security (1)||Hardware (1)|
Embedded Track – This track gives full exposure to the device side or “Thing” creation components and how to provide the connectivity to get the data out. To complete this track, take two Hardware classes and two classes of either Network or Security.
|Hardware (2)||Network or Security (2)|
Application and Data Insights Track – This track focuses less on the device, and more on how to handle the data and gaining insights from that data. To complete this track, choose two classes from Software & Cloud or Security and two classes from the Data & Machine Learning or Business Integration:
|Software & Cloud or Security (2)||Data & Machine Learning or Business Integration (2)|
Below shows the schedule for the workshops on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018, which will be the main workshop day. Workshop signup will begin two weeks prior to the workshop day through our signup app, which will be sent to you in an email. You can use this image as a reference to see what is going on during Wednesday. Tuesday will have some selected duplicates of the below schedule, and will be announced soon.
Along with classes chock-full of critical information which will propel your company forward in Internet of Things development, you get a variety of kits to take home with you for certain classes. The value of these kits can be above the price of the workshop overall.
